Through a user analysis, the design proposes spatial, infrastructural, and programmatic changes to transform the square into a cultural hub and improve the efficiency of its local transportation connections.
It introduces a diverse range of activities that build upon existing assets in the area, eliminating cars to prioritize public transportation, creating an underground gallery, a canopy for events, adding trees for shade, incorporating kinetic tiles as an energy source, creating a market, and transforming advertising boards into informational panels.
